BIND-E

The QWOP of FPS

How could you possibly make something as simple as clicking on NPCs challenging?

The answer: you randomize all keybinds along with aiming axes every 90 seconds, and that's the "EASY" mode.

This game features:

  • A linear Half-Life style campaign with 8 levels
  • 6 unique weapons
  • 4 unique-ish enemies
  • 10 keybinds to shuffle between, along with the possibility for your horizontal and vertical aiming axes to flip
  • 3 levels of pain and suffering (difficulties)

Note: The WebGL demo only features the first 4 levels and a lot more audiovisual bugs than the main game, but it should still be enough for you to get the gist of the game.

This game is actually something I've had in the works for about 4 years, which I've been working on and off on (a lot more off than on) in between studying and working. Finally, after letting it sit on the backburner for ~6 months while being 90% finished, I decided to make a final push and get it out of the door so I can finally be able to uninstall Unity and move on towards learning Godot.

Anyways, have fun!
